On January 30, 2000, the Los Angeles Rams beat the Tennessee Titans in Super Bowl XXXIV, giving Los Angeles their first championship. The final score was 23-16.

Touted as one of the most unexpected Super Bowl victories, Los Angeles went to 13-3 in 1999 (from 4-12 in 1998) en route to winning the coveted title.

QB Kurt Warner led the Rams to victory, while Marshall Faulk carried the load at running back. He gave first-team all-pro honors with 1,381 yards rushing and 1,048 yards receiving with 12 touchdowns. Meanwhile, wide receivers Issac Bruce and Torry Holt worked together on the outside.

In Super Bowl XXXIV, the Rams all played well. Warner tossed for 414 yards and two TDs, while Faulk had 90 yards receiving despite only gaining 17 yards on the ground.

On the other hand, Bruce and Holt both went over 100 yards receiving. Bruce’s 73-yard TD with 1:54 left in the fourth quarter was the biggest play in the game, putting the Rams up 23-16 in the final minutes.

Titans-Rams: How to Bet

Point Spread

The point spread is a bet on the margin of victory in a matchup. A certain number of points will favor the stronger team, depending on the perceived gap in ability between the two teams.

The favorite team is represented by a minus sign (-), while the underdog is represented by a plus (+) sign.

Bettors predict the team that will win the game straight up. If you prefer betting on just the winner or loser of a match, go for moneyline bets.

Over/under betting is where you have to predict if the combined total scores of both teams will be lower (under) or higher (over) than the number set by the oddsmakers.

Prop Bet

Prop betting is a bet based on occurrences during a sporting event. These are considered novelty bets since they can deal with a team’s milestones or individual players’ performance.
