The sports betting world rejoices - NFL football is back. This weekend represents the kick-off to the 2009 NFL season (NFL schedule).

To coincide with the enshrinements of owner Ralph Wilson Jr. and former DE Bruce Smith, the Buffalo Bills will take on the Tennessee Titans in Sunday's Hall of Fame game in Canton, Ohio-the Bills are 3-point underdogs and the Total is set at 31 at SPORTSBETTING.COM

While Buffalo QB Trent Edwards will probably see limited action on Sunday, he will have a new prominent target in Terrell Owens.

Young will be looking to take the #1 spot away this preseason, and he has a shot—if he can hold it together and step up. This bodes well for those who are betting on the Titans in the preseason. Young is going to want to show very well when he is handed the ball, and in a lot of situations, he should have an edge facing other teams #2 units.

T.O. has wore out his welcome on virtually every team he's been on whether it's the San Francisco 49ers, the Philadelphia Eagles, the Dallas Cowboys or with Joanna Krupa on The Superstars.

According to a Canadian Press report, Edwards, while excited to have T.O. as a target, is getting a little tired of constantly having to answer questions about his new teammate.

"As much as I try to come across that I'm still excited, the questions do get to be a lot. But that doesn't say anything about my relationship with him," Edwards said.

"It just says that in any business, if you get asked a lot about a certain individual or certain topic, it gets a little frustrating because I do feel like we have other weapons."

As it stands, whoever lines up behind center will not only have Owens to pass to but Lee Evans as well, who should benefit after being double-teamed last year.

Another weapon the Bills have is RB Marshawn Lynch, who recently appealed a three-game suspension and lost-he was arrested for gun possession during the offseason.

While his suspension will begin once the regular season starts, Lynch will be available for the Hall of Fame game and told the AP that he will, ". . . show up every day, give my 100 percent and ride my boys" until the regular season begins.

The Bills also signed former Colt RB Dominic Rhodes and re-inked RB Fred Jackson during the offseason.

Both will carry the rock while Lynch serves his suspension and also during exhibition as well.

Over on the Tennessee sideline, QB seems to be the topic du jour.

Head coach Jeff Fisher says that Kerry Collins will enter the season as the starter but said in a USAToday report that he wants former starter Vince Young to eventually get his old job back.

Sunday's game could be an opportunity for Young to win back the very job he had going into last season.

Who knows, if Young puts on a showcase, he could win back his job a lot earlier than anticipated.

It might be the dog days of summer but the NFL will be back on Sunday.

Enjoy your weekend.
